Section 16:
Power for State Government to direct survey by two surveyors.
A survey shall
ordinarily be made by one surveyor, but two surveyors may be employed if the State Government, by
order in writing, so directs either generally in the case of all 1[mechanically propelled vessels] at any
place of survey, or specially in the case of any particular 1[mechanically propelled vessels] or class of
1[mechanically propelled vessels] at any such place.
