Short title, extent and commencement.
About this Act
An Act to Consolidate and amend the law relating to the provision, maintenance and control of lighthouses by the Government.
(1) This Act may be called the 1*** Lighthouse
Act, 1927.
(2)It extends to the whole of India 2***.
(3) It shall come into force on such date3 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
