Section 12: Election to fill the seats allotted to the State of Meghalaya and the Union territories of Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
    As soon as may be after the appointed day steps shall be taken to fill the seats in the Council of States allotted to the State of Meghalaya and the Union territories of Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
