¹[10. Provision as to Legislative Assembly.—The total number of seats in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Arunachal Pradesh, to be filled by persons chosen by direct election from assembly constituencies shall be sixty, out of which fifty-nine seats shall be reserved for the Scheduled Tribes; and the provisions of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950) shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.]
