Section 26:
Exceptional provision for registration of certain births and deaths.
Notwithstanding
anything in section 19, the 1
[State Government] may make rules2
authorising Registrars of Births and
Deaths, on conditions and in circumstances to be specified in the rules, to register births and deaths
occurring outside the local areas or classes for which they are appointed.
