Section 2:
Definition of “diseased”.
(1) In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the
subject or context, diseased means affected with glanders or farcy or any other dangerous
epidemic disease among horses which the State Government may, by notification in the Official
Gazette, specify in this behalf.
(2) The provisions of this Act relating to horses shall apply also to 1
camels, asses and
mules.
