Act Name: The National Forensic Sciences University Act, 2020

Long Title: An Act to establish and declare an institution to be known as the National Forensic Sciences University as an institution of national importance to facilitate and promote studies and research and to achieve excellence in the field of forensic science in conjunction with applied behavioural science studies, law, criminology and other allied areas and technology and other related fields, and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 28: Finance Committee.
    (1) The Finance Committee shall consist of the following members, namely:--
         (a) Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairperson of the Committee;
         (b) two members of the Board of Governors, of which one shall be ex officio member to be nominated by the Board of Governors;
         (c) all Campus Directors;
         (d) one expert in the field of finance to be nominated by the Board of Governors;
         (e) Dean of any one School of the University, in rotation, as may be nominated by the Board of Governors.
     (2) The Executive Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Finance Committee.
     (3) The term of office of the members nominated under clauses (b), (d) and (e) shall be three years and the said members shall be eligible for renomination.
