Long Title: An Act to amend and consolidate the laws relating to social security with the goal to extend social security to all employees and workers either in the organised or unorganised or any other sectors and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 149: Power of central Government to give directions to state government and social security organizations.
    The Central Government may give directions to—
        (i) any State Government or a State Board constituted under section 12 to execute in that State, of any of the provisions of this Code; or
        (ii) any of the Social Security Organisations in respect of the matters relating to the implementation of the provisions of this Code.
