Long Title: An Act to provide, keeping in view of the economic development of the country, for the establishment of a Commission to prevent practices having adverse effect on competition, to promote and sustain competition in markets, to protect the interests of consumers and to ensure freedom of trade carried on by other participants in markets, in India, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 22: Meetings of Commission.
    1[22. Meetings of Commission.--(1) The Commission shall meet at such times and such places, and shall observe such rules of procedure in regard to the transaction of business at its meetings as may be provided by regulations.
     (2) The Chairperson, if for any reason, is unable to attend a meeting of the Commission, the seniormost Member present at the meeting, shall preside at the meeting.
     (3) All questions which come up before any meeting of the Commission shall be decided by a majority of the Members present and voting, 2***:
     Provided that the quorum for such meeting shall be three Members.]
