Long Title: An Act to provide for the establishment of the Land Ports Authority of India to put in place systems which address security imperatives and for the development and management of facilities for cross border movement of passengers and goods at designated points along the international borders of India and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 28: Authentication of orders and other instruments of Authority.
    All orders and decisions of the Authority shall be authenticated by the signature of the Chairperson or any other member authorised by
    the Authority in this behalf and all other instruments executed by the Authority shall be authenticated by the signature of an officer of the Authority authorised by it in this behalf.
