Long Title: An Act to Consolidate and amend the Law relating to the Partition of Estates paying Revenue to Government in the North-Western Provinces of the Presidency of Fort William in Bengal.

Section 5: Application to be signed, and certain particulars specified.
    The application shall be signed by the party or parties applying for the partition, and shall specify the nature of the tenure of the estate sought to be divided.
     The names of all the co-sharers in the estate, the nature and extent of their respective shares so far as the same may be known to the applicant or applicants, or can be ascertained by him or them, and the mode of partition desired, shall also be stated.
     Otherwise may be rejected.--If the application does not contain the particulars above-mentioned, the Collector may reject it.
