Abetment of offences that have been committed.
About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the governance of the Assam Rifles, an Armed Force of the Union for ensuring the security of the borders of India, to carry out Counter Insurgency Operations in the specified areas and to act in aid of civil authorities for the maintenance of the law and order and for matters connected therewith.
Any person subject to this Act who abets the
commission of any of the offences specified in sections 21 to 50 (both inclusive) shall, on conviction by
an Assam Rifles Court, if the Act abetted is committed in consequence of the abetment and no express
provision is made by this Act for the punishment of such abetment, be liable to suffer the punishment
provided for that offence or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.
