The application shall be in writing, and shall contain an inventory or description of the property distrained, the name of the defaulter and his place of residence, the amount due, and the date of the distress, and the place in which the distrained property is deposited.
    Cost of notice upon defaulter to be deposited by distrainer.—Together with the application, the distrainer shall deliver to the Civil Court Ameen or other Officer the amount necessary for the service of a notice upon the defaulter as hereinafter provided.
