Section 126: Suit to contest distrainer's demand before issue of notice of sale.
    A person whose property has been distrained in the manner hereinbefore provided, may institute a suit to contest the demand of the distrainer immediately after the distraint of his property, and before the issue of notice of sale. When such suit is instituted the Collector shall proceed in the manner prescribed in the last preceding Section. If thereafter application for the sale of the property is made to the Civil Court Ameen or other Officer, he shall transmit a copy of the application to the Collector, and suspend further proceedings pending the decision of the case.
