Section 132: Proceeds of sale.
    From the proceeds of the sale of distrained property the Officer holding the sale shall make a deduction at the rate of one anna in the Rupee on account of the costs of the sale, and shall transmit the amount to the Collector in order that it may be credited to Government. He shall then pay to the distrainer the expenses incurred by the distrainer on account of the distress and of the issue of the notice and proclamation of sale prescribed in section CXXIV to such amount as, after examination of the statement of expenses furnished by the distrainer, he shall think proper to allow. The remainder shall be applied to the discharge of the arrear for which the distraint was made with interest thereon up to the day of sale, and if there be any overplus it shall be delivered to the person whose property shall have been sold
