Parties shall produce their witnesses on the day of trial; or Collector, on application of either party, shall issue summons for the affordance of witness.

    The parties shall bring forward their witnesses on the day of trial, and if either party require assistance to procure the attendance of a witness on such day either to give evidence or to produce a document, he shall apply to the Collector in sufficient time before the day fixed for the trial, to enable the witness to be summoned to attend on that day; and the Collector shall issue a summons requiring such witness to attend.
