Section 2:
Local extent.
It extends to the territories 1which immediately before the 1st
November, 1956, were comprised in the States of Panjab and Delhi, but not so as to alter the effect of any
regulations made for any parts of the said territories under the 2Statute 33 Vict, Section 1;
And it shall come into force on the first day of June, 1872.
