Section 50-A:
Conditions of validity of rules hereafter made under this Act
50-A. Conditions of validity of rules hereafter made under this Act.--1[(1)] 2[Rules made under this
Act shall not be valid unless:]---
(a) they are consistent with the laws for the time being in force in the 3[territories to which this Act
extends];
(b) they are published in the Official Gazette;

5[(2) Every rule made by the State Government under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is
made, before the State Legislature.]
