Section 2: Definitions.
    In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—
         (a) "appointed day" means the date on which this Act comes into force;
         (b) "Court of the Judicial Commissioner" means the Court of the Judicial Commissioner for Goa, Daman and Diu.
